Diagnostic Tests & Procedures
An investigation for suspected blood clots includes a review of the patient's medical history, medications, current health and presenting symptoms. Your doctor may schedule blood and imaging tests to confirm or rule out the presence of blood clots. Your doctor will receive the results of the blood work and imaging the same day they are performed. If necessary, treatment will start immediately.
